Based in Shoeburyness, Southend-on-Sea, CDC Engineering operates in-house manufacturing facilities equipped to produce bespoke architectural metalwork and custom-designed components for individual projects.
We work closely with architects, designers, contractors and clients to interpret design concepts and transform them into precisely fabricated metalwork using high-quality materials and specialist manufacturing techniques.
From engineered design and detailed fabrication through to finishing, delivery and on-site installation, we manage the complete process in-house. This allows us to maintain control over quality, accuracy and programme at every stage of the project.

Working with us is simple, straightforward and collaborative. From the initial quotation through to final installation, we work closely with architects, designers, contractors and clients to ensure every detail is carefully considered and delivered to the required standard.
We begin by reviewing your drawings, designs and project requirements to provide an initial quotation. We then arrange site surveys and meetings where required, ensuring we fully understand the design intent, technical requirements and project programme.
Once the project is confirmed, our team works closely with you to develop the design into fully engineered metalwork. We consider dimensions, materials, fixings, finishes, tolerances and installation requirements to ensure the design is practical, buildable and aligned with the original concept.
Where required, we produce samples or full-scale mock-ups to allow the design, finish and detailing to be reviewed before manufacture. Once the mock-up has been approved and signed off, we move forward with production.
Our skilled workshop team then manufactures the metalwork in-house using specialist fabrication, CNC, laser cutting, folding and finishing processes. This gives us greater control over quality, accuracy and programme throughout the manufacturing process.
Once complete, we coordinate delivery and installation to suit the wider project programme. Our experienced installation teams ensure the finished metalwork is installed accurately, efficiently and to the agreed specification.
